In 3956 BBY the Endar Spire is beset upon Dark Malak’s Sith fleet while orbiting the planet of Taris. Led by Malak’s apprentice, Darth Bandon, the Sith boarded the ship aiming to capture Jedi Master Bastila Shan. However, the pilot, Carth Onasi, engaged the Sith forces and allowed for Shan to escape the Endar Spire in an escape pod to the surface of Taris.
