Lego Education: What is First Lego League?
Have you ever heard of First Lego League or FLL? First Lego League is for children aged 5-14 in school settings or community groups. Hear from a current Lego Education Ambassador who coaches 2 successful First Lego League teams. Those teams took home 3 different tournament trophies this year. She has also successfully started Lego Robotics programs at 4 different schools. Come learn what is First Lego League and how Lego is used in a classroom. This is a hands on break out sessions being able to try out Lego Education and First Lego League products.
 
Women’s Brick Initiative
The Women’s Brick Initiative (WBI) is an RLOC dedicated to inspiring, supporting and empowering women in the LEGO ecosystem. We are excited to be back at Bricks Cascade! Please join us as we share an introduction to WBI, some of our research, and our efforts around equity and inclusion. Any person who feels this is an activity they would relate to is encouraged to attend. This includes women of all ages, girls (we recommend minors be accompanied by an adult), anyone who identifies as female, or who thinks what women are doing is the coolest thing since sliced bread.
