Record-breaking Public Expo Attendance

The 2016 Bricks Cascade Public Exposition exceeded all previous attendance records with more than 10,000 visitors over two days.

Private Convention Participation Growing

The 2016 Bricks Cascade Private Convention was our biggest to date with 175 participants and over 375 MOCs displayed.

People’s Choice Winner

The People’s Choice award winning MOC, voted on by Public Exposition attendees, was “Multnomah Falls” by Erik Mattson.

Best in Show Winner

The 2016 Best in Show award winning MOC, voted on by Private Convention participants, was “Sea Haus” by Pamela and Austen Henry-Biskup.

LEGO Diamond Ring Giveaway

JacQueline Rose Sanchez of JacQueline Sanchez Jewelry Design graciously raffled off a LEGO diamond ring to the 2016 private convention participants. JacQueline (left) is shown here with the winner, Jaki Gilliam, who got to choose the color of the LEGO portion of the custom-made ring valued at $225.

Local MOC Builder Featured in c|net Article

Brian “Dag” D’Agostine, a convention participant and MOC builder, made it to the big time when his LEGO Technics dress – modeled here by his wife – was featured on c|net. Brian also created glasses, tie, belt, as well as his wife’s purse and shoes.

Our First Annual SigFig Group Shot

The 2016 Private Convention participants were invited to create and bring their own SigFig (signature minifig version of themselves) and displayed them together on the Multnomah Falls MOC.
